Respect the Dead
Stellar Corpses' first EP, Respect The Dead, was independently released in 2007 on their own label, Santa Carla Records, named after "The Lost Boys" (1987) filmed in their hometown, Santa Cruz. The EP was recorded at The Compound Recording Studios in Santa Cruz by Joe Clements (Singer of Fury 66). Stellar Corpses made an immediate impact with songs such as “Cemetery Man” and “Leave A Stellar Corpse.”
This debut release is a real Psychobilly Bone-Rattler with all the right ingredients. Hard rockin' rhythms with upfront slap-bass and power guitar drive along a bunch of catchy and memorable songs with enough ghoulish horror themes to disturb the darkest minds among fans of the Psychobilly and Horrorpunk genres.
